I did it again!
after no stop drive through Europe
i made it to Sweden.

to be honest it was a "pleasure" to cross Germany with the sunny weather
it's not so common

Denmark was storm rain and wind
like at midnight I had to stop for a very
bad noise coming from under the car.

imagine middle of nowhere , in a rainstorm (lucky , could have been snow) me, rolling under the car to check what was the problem, in a truck drivers parking lot,in the total darkness.
I foung a piece of fabric rolled to the front driveshaft beating a rubber hose,
so it was kinda lucky thing,easy to fix.
then drive to the next ferry
and cross the border to Sweden at 2,00 o'clock in the night.
of course stopped by the customs
( ultra loaded car with everything inside) they didn't even dare to check...
drive to Flakeberg
made it at 8 in the morning after coupla stops to rest , fill gas and eat the traditional drivers food at the gas station: Korv med Brod ( hot dog) with shrimp salad , of course.

Now try to understand where I landed, it takes always coupla days
and then
100% Blaster again.

Ho vissuto direttamente le mie emozioni senza la
mediazione di un obbiettivo.

Ho rivisto persone conosciute l'anno scorso,
e ne ho incontrate di nuove.

tutte sono state importanti in questo viaggio,
tutte hanno contribuito a renderlo speciale.

le cose che c'erano li potrete andarvele a vedere sui vari blog o youtube
ce n'e' a bizzeffe, solo l'imbarrazzo della scelta.

il mio Yokohama Show 2010
e' stato un viaggio in solitaria

aiutato anche da un jetlag quasi nullo ( ho dormito in aereo all'andata! wow!!)
mi sono gustato il Giappone della gente comune,
dei piccoli negozi di quartiere,
dove si fa la spesa tutti i giorni per le cose che servono
e dei piccoli bar dove sempre si puo' mangiare qualcosa.

comunque il sushi non mancava mai nelle mie giornate.

Terra di mille contraddizioni,
si puo' scorgere un luogo di culto shintoista
in una viuzza laterale
della piu' trafficata e fashion strada dello shopping.

fermarsi a meditare a pochi metri dal caos.

girando a piedi si possono fare gli incontri piu' interessanti.
magari persone indaffarate ma che lasciano stare il loro lavoro
perche' e' importante ascoltare un ospite,e farlo sentire a proprio agio.

gente sempre disposta a farsi in quattro se chiedi un'informazione
e sempre costernata se non riesce ad aiutarti a risolvere il tuo problema.

gente sempre al 100% ,
sia quando lavorano,
sia quando fanno festa e si ubriacano,
magari per curare lo stress accumulato lavorando.

E' molto forte la gerarchia,
in tutti i settori,
ma e' soprattutto in quello lavorativo che si fa notare di piu'.

il capo e' il capo!
ed ha sempre ragione!

questo e' forse il concetto che ha reso potente economicamente il Giappone in pochi anni da dopo la Guerra,
ma forse e' anche il limite e la contraddizione piu' forte,
cioe' l'annientamento del valore dell'individuo come tale e non per quanto possa contribuire al successo dell'impresa per cui lavora.

cominciano ad educarli a questo sin da piccolissimi.

Lo Show comunque e' stato incredibile, per qualita' e quantita' di cose da vedere,
si puo' customizzare di tutto,
dalle auto piu' fantastiche ai motorini che guidavamo a 14 anni,
c'erano veri artisti del pinstriping e dell'illustrazione.
ospiti di livello mondiale,ma anche gente non proprio famosa, ma con un talento incredibile.

Mi hanno colpito inoltre la semplicita' e la voglia di stare con la gente di Robert Williams e sua moglie Suzanne,
coppia di artisti superstar, ma allo stesso tempo con la curiosita'e la voglia di imparare di un principiante.

il riscontro poi che ho avuto allo show e' stato super.
qualcuno si era addirittura preparato con un foglio scritto in inglese
dove mi spiegava che cosa desiderava io dipingessi sulla sua giacca in pelle!
ed era venuto apposta da me.

Il lavoro piu' difficile per me , comunque , e' stato quello di scegliere un mezzo a mio piacimento da premiare ( Blaster's Pick)
ce n'erano almeno una cinquantina che mi piacevano, forse di piu'!!
ho scelto una moto che mi ha parlato,
che ha parlato alla mia anima
e mi ha raccontato di storie di bikers fuorilegge, di avventure sulla strada,di party selvaggi
ed amori improbabili.

il tutto dura un giorno
ma e' bello vivere il prima,
l'allestimento,
i party la sera prima, quelli la sera dopo,
il barbecue di ringraziamento agli ospiti offerto da Mooneyes l'ultimo giorno

questo post e' per ringraziare tutti coloro che lo scors Week-End sono passati

a trovarmi a Lugano al raduno HOG.

Ancora una volta ho sentito l'affetto delle persone che ormai mi conoscono e mi seguono da anni

e delle persone che magari avevano soltanto sentito parlare di me.

ho rivisto vecchi amici e fatto nuove interessanti conoscenze,tutti con una storia speciale da condividere.

Mi sono sporcato ancora una volta le dita di colore , ho steso metri e metri di linee , ho sofferto il caldo tremendo, la fatica, l'acquazzone e la grandine , ho mangiato quello che e' capitatava, quando capitava,

ma sono tornato a casa felice, anche se stanco.

Mi sento orgoglioso di portare avanti una tradizione, quella del Pinstriping, come filosofia di vita.

non un semplice lavoro,

ma la mia vita e le mie sensazioni che si traducono in linee e segni.

back in businness!

I've been out for a while,

first was the Jesolo bike week.

very nice meeting,

it was on a huge location, and I think it can grow much more.

I met lot of friends, and this 3 days formula is perfect , so you can spend more time with people.

after the show in the kart track , in the night, the party moved inside the Gasoline Bar.

looot of fun.

just after the jesolo thing

just went home, switched clothes , take a shower, loaded the bike on my old van, and GO!

only 2000 km to Sweden,

Germany was RAIN, ( wonder why) and dangerous ride

to meet Krantz and all the brothers

and drive to Norrtalje for the Custom Show.

Chopper Dave was there,

as usual the warmest welcome from the Twin Club friends

The best part of that event, after the show, is to have some beers around the camping spot.

Meet lot of interesting people, from Sweden , Finland and the rest of Europe.

Plebs area is alway filled up with cool people and cool bikes

Also Minna was there with her Chopper, she got AMD award, so she goes to Sturgis this Summer

Two friends from Italy joined this year, Gabriele e Gigi.

They rode all the way up and down crossin Germany and Poland with theyr bikes.

After the Custom Show, just spent some time around Sweden,cooked some Italian dinner for Dave , Rille and friends, with some good Italian wine.

the day after, the plan was to have my friend El Cheapo,who was back from Bottrop with some friends to visit me,

but some mechanical problems had to be fixed , so they showed up late, and the planned coffee time was switched into a barbecue,

it was raining, ( strange, it never rains in Sweden)...so we fit , like 15 people, inside my Stuga, It was funny.

Good memories, and good friendship.

Than the Jokers Car Show came, and also more rain and wind!

not so many peopled showed up, but plenty to make a good show.

Calle with his gorgeus , all by himself built, Panhead won the Best Bike trophy.

super happy!

The flight back home was smooth, no delays, no luggage lost, perfect!

immediatly junp in the car and drive to Cafe' degli Artisti in Cesenatico for a party.

there was Herb Martinez striping live, so I met this old friend after 11 years.

but no time to rest, just reload the car the day after and go to the Bikers Fest in Osoppo

I was invited there as Special Guest

on the way up, I stopped in Gasoline Bar to say hello to Alberto and to the Japanese guys ,

Wildman, Makoto, Ghost, MrG, and Nash,.

was good to see them.They were on tour around Europe.

I'm gonna meet them again next december in Yokohama, at the Mooneyes Show.

The Biker Fest was good,

unfortunately the rain made some bikers stay home ( this before the internet and I-Phone age

wouldn't have happen, everybody was checkin the weather in real time)

but anyway it was good for me, I had also time to stay with friends, drink coupla beers, listen to the music and see the traditional midnight strip tease, wow!

the welcome from the organization was super warm,

Now I'm here again, planning for the next trip,

see you in Lugano Switzerland, on 3rd week end of July.
